Given the game scale, any accuracy in OOBs can only apply to specific scenarios up to 6 game months in length. For a game lasting 1 to 4 years the old SPI "War in Europe" approach of generic units with limits on certain types, and options for upgrades, is probably the way to go. Then the overall grand operational approach taken by each nation could be simulated.

Being able to rebuild lost units with reps would be awesome and fix many of the problems with a game this long. Something SSG might want to think about in future releases.

Also opening up the caps on values in the game such as replacements per turn and rail use an such.

True.. but I guess we need to remember that the Italy engine wasnt meant for a game on this scale.

If anything though, I have received alot of emails from people suggesting that SSG do a proper version of this scenario.. could be a winner is they did :)
