Scenario Wishlist...

Got an interesting idea about a new scenario design? ...or maybe you just need some help with the Scenario Editor; this is the place!

Maybe all of us established scenario designers should join forces and work on a scenario together.

I would still like to see Rommel Master of Battle converted to BF.

Now let me get it correct here Rob, are you saying that being a 'housewife' will give you lots of time and be an easy option, compared to working at a nice air conditioned environment (without children) every day.

Maybe my wife just gave me the impression it was hard work, look forward to your comments in the future.

I had a few years as 'Mr Mom' back in the mid-late 90's.

I got a lot out of looking after the young ones and wouldn't have swapped it for the world, but you have to be on your toes in different ways than in the normal office environment.

I also found net access and games like TAO invaluable for keeping my brain in reasonable shape - and I used to enjoy the quiet afternoons while the kidlets were having a nap. Evenings were a different matter...

Speaking of which, I vaguely remember asking Roger then about the possibility of a PBEM replay feature in TAO - and now look where we are with the excellent Battlefront!

cheers Chris

Good luck Rob (and half your luck).

Whenever I suggest to Bec that we swap roles for a while so I can get some computer time done she just laughs  I am not sure if it is because the home job is harder or whether she has it on such easy street she is sayng 'fat chance'. I will be delighted to hear more.

When we were expecting our first child the mrs was earning more than me, so I volunteered to do the 'house hubby' bit. However, I was out voted (mrs votes counting as '2' of course to my '1'), but we agreed that when all children were at school we would look at this again. Our youngest has been at school for 4yrs now, and we don't appear to have had that conversation yet  :(

Hmmm, that reminds me, I have Operation Edelweiss in the loft (board game - Clash of Arms I think), I'll have a look at the OOB and see if it's convertible.

I have it too. the (10 parts !) map is huge. but the idea to see some soviet elite troops (guards, black sea marines) against the Wiking division, sounds very interesting.

I'm still waiting the delivery of my BF copy, and I hope to play that scenario very soon

Operation Epsom

Postby Chris Merchant » Wed May 16, 2007 10:41 am

just to let any budding scenario developers know, with Rob's help we're doing Operation Epsom at the moment...so that one's covered off. No ETA as it won't be released without an AI....!

cheers Chris
