Oh, that's not true!

Me thinks it's worthy of note that Brubaker has brought the /twinkle's win streak to an end! Think it was up to 15 or 20 or some outrageous number :D

Now to see if /twinkle's posting to the East will get him back on the winning streak

And I am the lucky Russian to receive Brubaker as my opponent... unknown units, random weather, I would prefer newbie opponent!

Hey Robjess, just to let you know. I tried e-mailing you at the address you gave me, but they all came back.

Ending Twinkle's streak was no matter of skill, I can assure you. We played mirror games, he won one decisively and I the other (techincally a draw) by about 30 points  So much the big run ender.

Twinkle's style is solid as a rock. he doesn't take the huge risks like some do, so he is never going to get those huge losses against him either. He plays forcefully and thoughtfully. I think it is this that has him winning so many games. If I had to place bets my money is on him for just about any game. Solid as a rock.

Now I have swelled his head a bit, I am going to spank him at the Steve Ford's camapign (I hope). Good luck to who gets him in the tournament.

If two players in the tourney are in the ladder (and I suspect most of us are), are these also ladder games?

I think this tournament is really a clever ploy by Rob to keep us all too busy to pester him and SSG with any more questions about BIN! Clever, veeery clever Rob. :D

azcat,

As your opponent, I am assuming that this will be a ladder game as well. :)

Not that I expect to gain any points off you Joel...:)

About to hit the road; you'll have your turn Sunday!

Standing rules for all Run5 Tournament (as listed in the rules for this Tournament.. read the initial post guys) - Tournament games can be reported against the ladder so long as both players are registered on the ladder - and it is at the discretion of the winner.

Registrations are now closed.

Postby Robjess » Thu Mar 11, 2004 3:44 pm

All slots have been filled and all players allocated opponents. Thanks to all those who registered - including the reserves - and best of luck to everyone!

Registrations will shortly open for the Tournament that JSS and I are working on though.. I would like quite a long(ish) registration period for this one.. I think it would be grand if you got enough registrations for a 64 player Tournament! I will issue a notice when Registrations do officially open though..
