Game over man

Tntom's game and mine just ended with a draw barely on the positive for my side. Axis ended up +9 points...only because of an Allied units demise on turn 15 or it would have been only 1 point.

I've not upgraded KP until I talk to my next opponent.

How are games going? Has anyone had to wait a while for turns or are they concerned their opponent may be MIA?

Round 2 Update:

Teven_Hangue (axis) vs. Ralph H (allied)

The game went the full 16 turns resulting in an overhelming Axis win.

Losses: Allied - 2 regiments & a supply unit
Axis - 4 regiments

Objectives taken: (Will post later)

A tough secenario for the Allies.

I have resigned on turn 12 (i think) in my game against Fantassin. He got some good combat results early on and with most of my men committed to the front he was then able to sweep around both of my flanks and really I have nothing in reserve to hold him back. He was currently winning on points when I resigned and he would have picked up at least 2 more objectives in the rear..

Luck is a big factor in this scenario, particularly for the Allies in the first turns. If they had good rolls (as I did), succesful defense will be quite difficult for the Turks.

I think luck plays a huge factor in this game, with the extremely limited number of attacks you can make each turn either you get the dice you need or esle you sit there.

In my 2nd round game azcat has attacked 4 times and rolled all 1's, ouch.

Hmmm, I just won my round 2 game vs azcat, if Fantassin beat Rob then Fantassin and I will be playing each other in 2 semi finals at the same time.

If it happens it will be the 3rd time I've faced him in a semi-final and the 4th in a semi-final or final. This is getting ridiculous, can't somebody beat him for me just once? :?

Herr? I'm not sure this fits Turkish terminology. :)

 How can he resist my valiant British, NZ and Australian troops?

American intelligence reports a senior German commander advising the Turks... he is reported to be importing 1's and 2's that will be slipped into the Commomwealth arsenal to slow them down and halt them in the mud
