Still search for a candidate?

If so, count me in but I won't be able to start my turns before the beginning of June.

June is too far away - so if someone else nominates shortly I will take them up - but if we are still looking for someone in June then you will be it :)

OK the draw has been down - Sorcerer you will be happy you are not playing Pterrok - well not in the first round anyway.

Brackets can be found here:

Emails have been issued - Axis players set your games up and have your first turns!

And you can now display your medals as:

You know, it's amazing that I'm still coming up against players I've never played before! To Ralph H--may the best man win! (But I hope the Axis is the favored side in this scenario!)

I was just thumbing through the CRT tables for Gallipoli and I noticied several values that didn't make sense to me.
In slope terrain on a clear day an overun is triggered by odds of 9-1 but to make sure that no remnant is left only 7-1 odds are needed. Clear terrain has a similar odds structure 7-1 overrun with 5-1 no remnants.
I suspect that 7-1 should be overrun with 9-1 leaving no remnants in slope and 5-1 overrun 7-1 no remnants in clear terrian
Also peak has no overun value but a no remnant value of 10-1 odds.
Am I reading the tables wrong or is there an adjustment needed?

Pterrock, hide your computer analysis of all the odds in the KP engine and maybe I will have a chance to give you a battle :D

Hmmm, maybe I SHOULD run the Gallipoli CRT through my little analyzer--and keep the results to myself!

Especially since as I'm Axis and it doesn't look like I'll be doing much attacking...

Glad to see an Axis player has already won one!

Well, as the squashed Allied player that lost to Sorceror, I can say I had quite a few attacks, lots of good dice rolls at the beginning, but couldn't force him out of many of the VPs hexes.

Hmmm, lucky dice plus lots of attacks, combined with a defeat implies lousy strategy I guess :(

My game with Cpt Feathersword has come grinding to a halt at only turn 2 - he is unable to open the turn file with some error about him trying to play the wrong side.

Advice/suggestions welcome.

Note that I've already manually resent the file in zip format to no avail :?

Rob - let me know what you want us to do if we can't get the bloody thing working. Restarting would not be a problem at this point IMO ...

A common way for this error to come up is the accidental send from the Play folder  Web based mail programs can help a person to do this

Since you've already zipped the file (probably not the wrong file in this case), it would seem the registry entry is corrupted(?).

I'd recommend the quick restart option.
