Ok Mr. Noakes, are we going to get this going?

I suppose we need the set up file from PeteAu. Or do we set it up ourselves? Its been so long I forget.

Your timing is impecable Mr Kingpin sir, on Monday I'm off on business for 2weeks (Hong Kong, never wanted to go, but the company seems quite keen for me to go there) so I won't be able to kick this off until 1st October I'm afraid? Sorry about that, but sadly beyond my control. If the rules mean I have to hoist the white flag then I can do that :)

Nah. We are reasonable men. And I can wait until October 1st.

Enjoy the sights!

Sadly I've had to resign the tourny game against Kingpin due to lack of forces  . I thought in games against Deerslayer and Peteau that things went quite well, but this was a rather humbling experience

With my game as Poles the entire army was virtually destroyed within 5 turns, and the enemy is at the gates of Warsaw with no hope of recovery.

With my game as Axis the Poles had the damn cheek to counter-attack  and have killed a couple of prized regiments. My attacking opportunities at turn 4 were dire (and that is putting an optimistic gloss on it!).

Sorry not to have provided a worthy opponent, well played Kingpin, thoroughly deserved victory. :D

I think the delay between matches made Andrew's skills rusty.

Thanks for the games.

And to Pete, I really enjoyed this scenario. Too bad more players didn't give it a look.

A magnanimous gesture Jon, but if only that were the case...

Well done KP

Sorry about my absence over the last few months.
I'm happy you were able to carry on without me.

I've been totally busy trying to make a few bucks in property and have now got a major project off the line in Busselton WA with some coastal properties going up to be finished next summer. (so if anyone wants a nice holiday home....give me a call).

Also, Sealion is finished. This is my best offering yet - I have played it thru many times - I just find this particular alternate history so absorbing (Its one of my holy grails of wargaming along with Market garden and France 1940 and stalingrad).

Whats next - well, I'll tinker with france 1940 for BiI and perhaps Arras for BF

Cheers

To promote the properties you could buy a yacht and win the Americas Cup
