Afraid I'd like to stick with this now if that's ok - my game/diary/work congestion has eased somewhat so will be looking for games and holding out for this one and Rob's Barbarossa game. :D

This Tournament is officially on hold.. we are just waiting for Roger to help us out of an issue in the Tournament routines. Obviously Roger is very busy working on new SSG product(s) - so we just need to wait until he gets some 'free time'.

When we do get to a point where we can kick this off again - we will reconfirm players availability.

The tournament is on hold, some problems with the secure setup. Awaiting a fix at the minute. Hopefully it wont be much longer.

When does the FW tournament registration start?
Never, ever.... ever again!

If davidb is still looking for a tourney spot, I'll sell it to him for $10.
Or if you really want it you can have it as I currently have my hands full with pbem games that I've recently picked up. So its all yours, but if no one wants it I will keep it.

I assume you are talking about Fall Weiss?

This tournament would encounter the same problem as this one because the German player plays first.

As for an update...I haven't heard anything new.

Oh Oh - have I missed something, what FW tournament.....

Actually, I have the final version of FW on Robs desk (so to speak). Once its uploaded a tourn may be possible. I'd be happy to run it. Once its available I'll set up a registration thread.

I see no reason not to set it up like the KP tourney - allocated game names players firing off their own first turn.
History is an argument without end
Projects - Iskra (available to download), Stalingrad Pocket (ver101 finished and available to download), Guadalcanal (map done), Guadalajara (playtesting - volounteers?), Napoleonic Borodino (volounteers?)

I suppose we could do that for this tournament as well.

If we are going to have a long wait to get this fixed I would suggest we go with that solution.

Is it possible to get a timeframe on the fix Roger? Robjess?

Tourney Race v1.02

Postby JSS » Fri Mar 31, 2006 4:57 am

Here's a US goes first alternate version of Race to the Meuse. This could be used to get started now. Scenario is harder to win as the Germans.

Decision to use this will be up to Kingpin.

Players need TAO5 v1.01 battleset for this version.

Look in the BII discussion area. TAO5 thread has the v1.01 update scns.

Robjess will be updating the scenario download page on the main scenario site soon also... If you have v1.00 you don't need the whole download, just the scn files posted to the threads.
