Mirror games are the way to go!

In the event of one victory each, I suggest the actual points aggregate score of the games determines the winner.

You're telling me! I've very nervous about playing Rob -- I should backup all important data on my hard drive before we start!

Yes, I had very similar bits of luck. I suppose if Rob and I are paired against each other, one of us will make it to the finals. :)

So are we doing mirror? If so, I agree with Fantassin, they should be played simultaneously, especially since the turns are pretty short.

It sounds like mirrored games are the way to go with the one caveat being they are simulataneous, so I guess it is up to each player to make sure they do not get ahead on one of the games. I'll email the games out probably by tomorrow afternoon and may God bless the computer of Rob's opponent.

Would one of you mind doing an AAR (behind the real life turns of course)...please

Actually, I've been kind of itchy to do my first AAR. I told Rob that I'll do one of our match where I am Allied and he is Axis.

I've been doing screen dumps and screenshots and noting my "battleplans" using MSPaint, however, I don't want to begin posting these things until the next round of games is underway. If I get knocked out by Rob I'll begin posting them right away, but, if I move on to the finals I'd like to keep my "plans" to myself for the time being.

I noticed that you haven't given us "The Sorcerer Picks" for the semi-finals.. you're slacking!

As yes you've agreed on a mirror game.

Fantassin to win vs Joel137

SteveL to win vs Robjess (assuming Rob doesn't have any more viruses to unleash.... )

Ack... that explains a lot -- I have been getting beer ad pop-ups while taking my turns!

Cpt -- Rob was unsuccessful in destroying my computer and threw in the towel last night. Could you please advance me in the tourney?

I know I said I'd do an AAR on our match, but, we didn't really play long enough to post anything of a whole lot of interest. I have the initial Allied plan and the first 5 turns of screenshots and commentary... Maybe I'll post it later on but it will be like reading 5 chapters of a long book and then it suddenly ends!
