Wait some have already FINISHED their game?

Who are these evil people and I hope they are nowhere near my part of the draw...

Not that me and my opponents are anywhere near decisive yet (Only turn 14), the ground of Catalina are a bloody mess of English corpses (well a FEW English dead at least :), while the mountains towards Palermo have large number of Italian dead and POW.

Patience is in order. Islander plays at slow pace but he is still there. I received a turn (SFKP tourney) from him yesterday.

Tournament rules state that players should seek to have their turns around in 2-3 days. If this is not possible then players should not enter the tournament.

Never received your email. The address for the ladder site is the wrong one.

Um, you DO realize that you can go to the ladder, log-in and CHANGE your email address to the correct one, don't you???

(It's under your Player profile, so either click on your name in the Rankings list or look yourself up under the Players list.)

WINNER: Lannes; Draw 14 points Axis.

Well after a hard fought battle. Lannes(axis) with excellent delaying tactics on my push to Palermo, has emerged as the Victor.
Came down to the last die roll a 5 or 6 would have seen 129 Pnz destroyed throwing the points in Allies favour however a 4 rolled so not to be.

Monty knows the loss was due to the excellent command of General Lannes on the Palermo Sector however can not resist the opportunity to take a swipe at Patton.

It is reported he asked Patton that as he was unable to maintain the proper schedule for Palermo that : " Perhaps you would like myself to take complete control of the combined Allied Forces for the next campaign?"
Apparently this caused Patton to fly in to an uncontrollable rage supposedly at one stage (although can not be confirmed at this stage), slapping a soldier and accusing him of cowardice.
American officials refuse to give credence to this occuring and state is definately not the reason for Pattons recall from the Mediterean Theatre.

Congratulations General Lannes (Chris).

Tempted to ask, where is everyone?

Where's the boasting of Axis tanks running the Allies into the sea? The signs of panicked Italians and germans running from the Tommies? The tales of brilliant strategy and disaster...

Hey I managed to win my first tornament match, i have to boast SOMEWHERE!!!

Aysi, as Allies just gave up his game. My brilliant "run for the hills" strategy worked for once.

After killing 15 units in the first 2 or 3 turns I managed to keep everyone alive, and hit the British several times with the HG division in the plains in the east, killing 5 of his units.

Falling back I delayed the fall of Palermo till turn 21 (he killed another 6 units there, but they were all 12 point Italian troops). At that point I had a solid line from the middle of the east coast to the middle of the north coast, and a 670 point lead.

As there was no way for him to get Messina, the only way to get any points was to kill troops. And that was just not possible, with me in the hills and mountains, and him attacking formthe plains (and me waiting to counter :) )

Updated: email send to webmasterATwarDOTrobjessDOTcom, hope this is the right email?
