Get well soon Ian!

Postby pete AU » Fri Mar 11, 2011 11:45 pm

Hi all

I'm sure Roger won't mind me passing this on - as he himself is very busy with moving house at the moment.

Ian Trout (one of the founders of SSG) is in hospital with a broken femur at the moment. It seems there may well be serious complications.

I'd like to join everyone in wishing Ian a complete and speedy recovery.

Best wishes

For making Warlords games and these war games, Trout is a legend. May he be healthy and live long.

I visited Ian yesterday and he is in good spirits. We have, for the moment, put to one side the question of whether Ian's breaking of his leg was in fact an accident or indeed a blatant attempt to avoid active service and get a cushy billet in the hospital ward.

In the meantime, in the best traditions of British justice, we will be concentrating on achieving a full recovery for Ian so that he can attend his own court-martial!

Great to read he is doing better. Though, probably won't be able to outrun anyone chasing him either for sometime :P
