SSG Site Update

Postby Noakesy » Wed Aug 15, 2007 6:17 am

Just had a glance today and surprised to see the new 'set up' and presentation - all looks very nice, please just make sure there's plenty of news on it regarding new and old games  :D (nice that the forum doesn't meaning opening a new tab too).

I like the way the 'customer made scenarios' are laid out (yes, I know I'm lazy compared to all the hard work Bru, JSS and Robjess and others have put in), shows just how many scenarios the 'community' created for BiI, long way to go on BF. You don't seem to have included the AAR/notes on OMG (I may easily have overlooked it)?

The new site format looks great! It's a marked improvement over the old one. Nicely done fellas.

How quickly we get spoiled, huh? Not all that long ago two simultaneous and separate pages meant two browsers running. ;)

I notice that CAW has a v1.01 patch listed as released August 12th, though it's actually BF's v1.02 patch. I realize the patch hasn't been released and this is an error. A quick question though: BF has v1.02 patch listed, but not v1.01. Does this mean that v1.02 is all-inclusive and may be applied to a clean install? It was my understanding that v1.01 was still required.

Hi Flintlock,

I jumped the gun a little on the CAW patch and had a placeholder there - so I've removed it (for now).

The battlefront patches are cumulative - ie it includes both the v1.01 changes and the v1.02 changes so you only need 1 update if you are on v1.00.
