Postby sorcerer » Sat Jul 28, 2007 3:18 am

Hey.

Anybody know where I can get a copy of this?

I've heard this version runs fine under Windows 2000 and XP.

Thanks.

You do realize that this is NOT an eastern front scenario, right?

I found a copy of 2.4.0 here:

ftp://ftp.theblitz.org/games/the_ardenn ... sive_2.exe

but I doubt it will run reliably in anything but Win95/98/ME.

cheers

Yes true, it is never quite the same...

Running it in XP. Turning off city names it helps the stability and on smaller scenarios it only crashes once every three or four turns and then it is always during your turns and not the AI, so easy to save and re-load.

Shame SSG never updated all the smaller scenarios (especially St Vith and the Allied counterattack) and cut down the large scenario to only 32 turns instead of the 64.

Still in Battlefront it is a shame they only offered up Novorossisk....
