SPAM in forums

Postby Howard7x » Sun Jun 24, 2007 6:25 pm

There appears to be some strange messages in the BIN thread. Dunno what it is exactly but looks to be spam of some kind or something that may have infected the forums.

Needs urgent attention!![/b]

I've noticed this creeping in quite a bit lately - I think previously (as in like a year ago) Robjess used to manage to wave a magic wand and block it out somehow - anyone got any ideas as it's a bit of a bind?

Howard,

It does seem the spam d*&#heads are changing their tactics/capabilities.

Unfortunately anything posted sits 'til I'm back. Just one of a million ways Robjess' contributions are missed.

May have to go back to the lame old days where each new account gets manually approved :x
