let a few players play two games... that would be strange if they met each other.. um I meant themselves lol

Fantassin, Drew3077, MDC have joined up so we are now 58 tourney players. 6 more and we reach the magic number of 64, if not... anyone who has a good suggestion for solving how to set up the tourney ladder

Have a random draw to give some lucky players a second spot.

Projects - Iskra (available to download), Stalingrad Pocket (ver101 finished and available to download), Guadalcanal (map done), Guadalajara (playtesting - volounteers?), Napoleonic Borodino (volounteers?)

Thanks for the suggestion... I won’t do it as it will create confused, schizoid, paranoid players as well as a real mess to administrate for me :)

Important is that all participants should play from round 1, as it is a first release tournament and the first time we do a BiN tourney, and that all who wants to take part can take part... so solve this for me while I go back to do some work instead of spending time here.

Regards

ok

there are 6 testers and ssg members. Separate them from the main group initially to reduce to 3.

The ramaining 52 will reduce to 13.

Add 3 to to 13 and you get 16

16 reduces to one winner

So the testers get 1 less game - but that lets us catch up.

that actually is a great idea,
or we could just get some more players by advertizing on the MAtrix forum

The tournament is already advertized on the Matrixgames forums since the Run5 forums were on holidays.

I think(hope) we will easily reach 64 players-I guess after the release and first reviews there will be another few people joining.

And naturally I assume if any of the nefarious "testers" or "SSGers" don't advance until they meet a tester or SSG guy that they will be publically admonished, held in the stocks and lose brownie points. :D
