I am in for sure since we are allowed to play. As I tell everyone (I am losing to) just because we are testers doesn't mean we are any good  I just break the things not fix em...

The bidding system is an excellent system (though the name bid must be a grognard thing). It means games can now be weighted/handicapped by final score instead of mucking around with the difficulty levels.

I think a good addition to the ladder would be a ranking style system which is equated to formulas for the bidding. ie. All players on the ladder are ranked at certain 'levels'. When two players want to play each other they look at their approriate 'rankings' to determine what bidding is used.

ie. Twinkle is 'Green/General' , I am 'Yellow/Colonel'. We start a 20+ turn game in Normandy and the recommendation is the 'yellow' player to get 150 point head start.

Sort of like a handicapping sytem like at the GG's.

Anyway, I am in ;) And I will spot whoever I play 1/4 of the decisive victory level to be fair, assuming they are not on the "black list" as detailed in Rob's post 8)

I sent an e-mail to the Overlord Tournament confirmation address. But the mail daemon told me that the address was nonexistent. I checked it once, and I checked it twice, but the address I sent it to was not incorrect. Is there anyway I could sign up without having to send an e-mail?

I too have had my mail rejected.

Perhaps Twinkle is being flooded by sign ups?

Mine too.

Perhaps we could ask Twinkle to check that the address supplied is correct.

I have just survived a terrible weekend... that’s one without internet, e-mail and so on (I’m finally updated on Sweden’s three gold medals). I have received a bunch of entries for the tourney and will post a list in a short while. If you find that your name is missing please send me a new e-mail.

Best regards
/twinkle ;)

Twinkle,

I've sent you two emails and both have been "temporarily" blocked by the email Gods.

Can this suffice for my email wanting to get in this tourney?

thanks
Hank
