Combat resolution question - "final shift"

Stupid question but, for combat resolution, once you reach 10-1+ odds is there any benefit to continue adding support (air, artillery, etc) to push your “final shift” higher?

Like let’s say you are conducting an attack and have already attained 10-1+ odds from only adding a couple artillery support units, but your final shift is “+1”. Does it mean anything or is there any benefit from that point on to keep adding artillery support, air support, etc to push your final shift higher, or does 10-1+ represent best odds possible, no matter what your final shift happens to be?

The easiest way to tell is to always look at the CRT (combat results table) that appears in the middle of the bottom panel when setting up an attack.

There is also a dedicated screen for CRT and Terrain modifiers that you can access with a button found in your circular `control panel' over to the bottom left of the main interface panel.

The CRT will show you exactly what results you can expect from any given roll of the die.
