Ok guys.. you have waited a while for this.. but we have just posted 4 screen shots from Battles in Normandy.

The images are featured on the main Run5 news page. So if you got to these discussion forums via the back or side door then you may have missed it.. let that be a lesson to you!

Cool! Looks very much like the game we already know and love. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when I heard that the engine had been 'completely rewritten', I didn't know what to expect.

I'm looking forward to it.

Great job with the map.Now hurry up and release it!.

The interface looks the same apart from the graphics.I thought it was going to change. :?:

I took a careful look at the map in the screenshot of Utah beach. I compared it to a map I have, and it matched up nicely. Looks like they did a good job.

Looks like the scale is close to 2km per hex. Why do I care? I dunno. Fixated on maps I guess.

On the bottom screenshot with the combat and Unit display, I notice many additions.

Small blue dice, a small number in bottom right, and now what I percieve to be visual indication of shock and anti shock values. Any chance of filling me in on the first 2?

Also interesting to note the amount of timed replacments available!!!!
