Justplay have removed the KP v1.11 UK patch from their website.
The patch fails to update the registry value to v1.11 and will therfore prevent PBEM games from working with patched US version players.
JustPlay will reinstate the patch once they have rectified the problem.

Still, worth a hack if you don't want to wait another few hours/days to play PBeM.
Anyone want to try this out with my hacked v1.11 , let me know :-)
Posted by: Manny on December 17, 2003 04:33 AMYes this works, I have been using a similar set of hacks to change my game version so it is compatible with patched UK games (ie mine is US patched to v1.11 but it needs to display v1.00 so it will load a UK patched PBEM file).
The problem here is that many players don't understand or are unwilling to use a registry hack, and therefore need to wait for the official fix, which is hopefully not too far off now.
