Sat 11Oct 2003 | Bastogne Scenario

Run5 are currently putting the finishing touches to a new scenario titled Bastogne. Based upon the 101st relief of this crucial cross road town in the Ardennes, this scenario is based on a smaller scale then that of TAO and KP, and features Battalion sized units. The scenario is a direct port of the SSG scenario of the same name from their Battlefront/Panzer Battles, as originally found on the C64 in the mid 80's.

As the scenario enters its final stage of testing and fine tuning, we expect to be able to offer the scenario in the next week or two. Stay tuned for this and future scenarios from Run5!

Hi Hank..

I am eager to release it also. Its coming along well.. quick part is creating it, the hard and slow part is tweaking and testing it to make sure it plays well.

Im testing it with a few people at the moment, I hope it will be ready for release by the weekend.. I said that last week though..

Fingers crossed!

How is it coming up?

I'd be happy to know when I can try it.

Its coming along ok, I dont want to release it until its playing right and that I am happy with it, so I would prefer to hold off a week or so to ensure I get it right.

I know I keep saying that it is all but a week or two away.. but given that I am trying to hold down a normal job, have some other things I need to tend to also, I am getting there. This scenario probably wont be released until the patch is released now anyway..
