Roger has sent me an updated version of the Korsun Pocket Scenario Editor - this is version 1.10 of the editor and it can be found in the Files section. There is no need to grab this update unless you intend to use the scenario editor to create custom made scenarios.

Any chance of giving us a small list of changes in this version?
Thanks in advance.

Posted by: Brubaker on August 30, 2003 10:57 AMThere havent been many changes actually, mostly small.. I cant remember them all but here is what I can:
- fixes some problems with Air Drops
- fixes a problem of not being able to delete strongpoints
- fixes some problems associate with bigmap.bmp after it is recompliled could cause problems if it was resized in photoshop or another 3rd part paint program.
Any budding scenario editors should note at this point - that if they do play around with bigmap.bmp in an external painter - they should NOT resize the map nor, should they crop it at all. If you change the dimensions of the bigmap.bmp at all it can cause problems in the editor later of after it has been recomplied.
Umm thats about it I think.. like I said there werent any major changes to it. Although it is recommended that if you intend to play with the editor, or follow my Scenario Editor Tutorials you do grab the latest version.
If anyone finds the editor misbehaving in any way, then by all means let me know.
Note that sometimes when you add objectives, strongpoints, units, supply sources.. you have to click new a few times before the save button is enabled. We know about this.. its not a big deal.. the work around is as stated..
Also note that SSG are working on a completely new and revamped editor for BIN - which I have seen and its fantastic! Its miles ahead of this one. But if you come to grips with this KP one then the BIN one will be a breeze. Sort of like going from a manual car to an auto - as Roger puts it.
