Hi everyone.
First of all I would like to thank everyone for their ongoing feedback and support! Chris and I both appreciate it.
We are in the process of introducing some proper local discussion forums using 'invision powerboard'. To that end we have closed off the previous General Discussion, PBEM and Scenario Design threads and started new ones on the new BBS - which can be found under the 'Discussion' link on the menu.
The new forums are similar to what you will find on other sites, like MatrixGames etc. It will allow you guys more freedom in terms of sigs and being able to create new threads yourselves. Im sure you will agree that its a step in the right direction.
We still welcome comments and discussion on specific news items that we post - like this one.. so dont feel restricted. The 'Recent Comments' highlights on the right hand side of the News Page (this page) will only reflect those comments left in relation to these type of News items. It will not show any comments from the new Discussion Forums.
Eitherway, get to it, get on over to the new Discussion area, create an account and start posting. It should all be familar to you..

For your info: the poll which we were running related to "What size resolution is your screen set to?"
We ran this poll specifically to obtain data to help us build this website (ie: No good building a website thats best viewed at 1024x768 if everyone is using 800x600)! We will also pass this info onto SSG as they may find it useful for their purposes.
I would have liked to have run the Poll longer.. but I think the results show us the trends we were looking for:
A total of 41 people voted on the poll.
1. 1024x768 with 31 (75.6%) votes
2. 1152x864 with 8 (19.5%) of the votes
3. 1280x720 or more with 2 (4.8%) of the votes
No one reported that they were using 800x600 or less.
