One of our regular's <b>Ken </b>reports that Matrix Games have begin shipping Korsun Pocket!

In addition, Matrix Games reports that the September 2003 issue of Computer Gaming World, gives Korsun Pocket, 5 out of 5 stars, and the Editors Choice.

Going on to state :

<b>“The best hex-based wargame ever made. Period.”

"Somehow, Korsun Pocket manages to capture everything that’s compelling about historical wargaming and presents it as a tremendous game.”</b>

The time has come..

In other news, I have finally got around to posting my turn in the <a href="http://stuff.robjess.com/war-room.htm">Current AAR </a>- come and see Chris and myself slog it out in the forests of the Ardennes. The allies are about to pounce.. :(

It was a great review. I immediately installed TAO and thought I'd best come learn more about hex gaming, which I haven't done since the days of Avalon Hill in the middle of the last century.
Congrats on the good review!

Just starting the game and going through the first of eight tutorial or lessons. I printed out the manual at work and they have a players guide and a game manual. There is a printed mini manual that has the 8 lesson in print for you that are in the players guide for those who do not print out the manual but want some beginner info. The first thing I noticed is there is a ton more information available for units and terrain than TAO. Well I hope to dive into this alot this weekend, and I hope everyone enjoys it. I am sure there will be a ton of comments and questions. Let the fun begin.
